Data Deletion Instructions

1. For hospitals and clinics (StayRising customers)

You can request deletion in either of these ways.

Option A — From inside StayRising

1. Log in to StayRising with an administrator account.
2. Go to Settings > WhatsApp and choose Disconnect. StayRising will stop sending and receiving WhatsApp messages for your number.
3. Request account deletion from your account settings, stating whether you want your whole account deleted or only your WhatsApp data.

Option B — By email

1. Email support@stayrising.in with the subject "Data Deletion Request".
2. Send it from the email address registered on your StayRising account, so we can verify the request.
3. Include your hospital or clinic name and say whether you want your whole account deleted or only your WhatsApp data.

2. What happens next

• Within 7 days: we confirm that we have received your request.
• Within 30 days: we complete the deletion and confirm it by email.
• Legal exceptions: data we are required by law to keep, such as invoices and tax records, is retained only for as long as the law requires and then deleted.

3. What is deleted

• Your StayRising account and user details.
• Patient records, appointments and billing data stored in your account.
• WhatsApp connection details (WhatsApp Business Account ID, phone number ID and access tokens) and the WhatsApp message history stored in StayRising.

Messages already delivered to patients' phones, and data that Meta holds under its own policies, are outside StayRising's control. You can manage your WhatsApp Business Account directly in Meta's WhatsApp Manager.

4. For patients

Your hospital or clinic controls your data, so please contact them first to access, correct or delete it.

You can also email support@stayrising.in with the subject "Data Deletion Request". Include your name, the phone number you used, and the name of your hospital or clinic. We will route your request to that hospital and help it respond. Hospitals may be legally required to keep some medical records for a period of time.
